# Organization management

Settings that apply to your whole organisation rather than to a single assistant.

Two related screens live elsewhere in the menu but belong to the same job:

* [Secret keys](/en/for-administrators/tools/secret-keys.md): stored credentials used by tools and integrations.
* [Users and access](/en/for-administrators/access.md): people, groups, roles and rights.

## What to set up first

If you are new to administering the platform, do these in order:

1. [**Brand identity**](/en/for-administrators/organization/brand-identity.md)**.** Ten minutes, and it is the first thing colleagues notice.
2. [**Organization settings**](/en/for-administrators/organization/settings.md)**.** Decide which sign-in methods you allow and whether people may register themselves.
3. **Data retention**, also in organization settings. Agree the period with whoever owns data policy in your organisation before you switch it on. It is easier to set before there is a year of history than to explain afterwards.

{% hint style="info" %}
Not every screen here is available to every administrator. Some are restricted to partner organisations or to platform administrators. If one is missing from your menu, your account manager can explain what applies to your organisation.
{% endhint %}
