# Library

The Library is how Toolbox elements are shared between organisations. Found under **AI Toolbox → Library**.

## What it is for

If you run several organisations (or work with a partner who builds elements for you), the Library saves rebuilding the same element in each one. Elements are bundled into **library categories**, which can be made available to other organisations.

The Library has two tabs:

| Tab                  | What it shows                                           |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Discover** | Bundles other organisations have made available to you. |
| **My Contributions** | Bundles your organisation has published. |

## Using a shared bundle

From **Discover**, each card shows a bundle's name, description and how many elements it contains.

* **Add full category** takes the whole bundle. You can rename it and pick an icon as you add it.
* Open a bundle to browse its elements and **Add** individual ones, choosing which of your own categories each lands in.

Once added, an element appears in your Toolbox like any other. A card you have already taken shows **Added** rather than **Add**.

## Imported elements behave differently

An element added from the Library is a **reference** to the original, not a copy. The organisation that published it still owns the template, the inputs and the model.

That means you cannot edit those things. What you can change is:

| Setting                                            | What it does                                                |
| -------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Name**, **Description**, **Image**, **Category** | How it appears in your Toolbox. |
| **Allowed groups** | Which of your user groups may use it. |
| **Additional instructions** | Extra instructions layered on top of the original template. |

**Additional instructions** is the useful one. It lets you adapt a shared element to your organisation without forking it, for example *"Use 'Team Acme' as the sender name and the signature below."* Where the additional instructions conflict with the original template, yours win, and they apply only inside your organisation.

{% hint style="info" %}
Because imported elements stay linked to the original, improvements made by the publishing organisation reach you automatically. The trade-off is that you cannot change the template yourself.
{% endhint %}

## Publishing your own bundle

From **My Contributions**, choose **Add category**.

| Field           | What it is                                                                                |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Name** | What other organisations will see. |
| **Description** | What the bundle contains and who it is for. Be specific. This is all anyone has to go on. |
| **Elements** | Which of your elements to include. At least one. |

## Editing and removing a bundle

Editing lets you change the name, description and which elements are in it. Adding an element to a published bundle makes it available to everyone who already has that bundle.

Availability is fixed when the bundle is created and cannot be changed afterwards. The edit screen shows it, greyed out, and says so. To share the same elements differently, create a new bundle.

**Delete category** withdraws the bundle.
